Town Council
The council is responsible for various projects such as street and sidewalk repair, town beautification, planting trees, mowing public property and other tasks. Securing funding for these projects is a main duty of the council.
Water Treatment Plant
Water is piped in from wells north of town. Once it reaches the treatment plant it is filtered to remove iron and manganese. Chlorine is then added to kill any present bacteria. It is tested daily for levels of iron, manganese, and chlorine. This safe water is then piped to the town and several rural homes, along with five fire hydrants around the town. |
